Long known as India's 'pub capital', the city practically invented the modern Indian nightlife scene here, and this area remains its beating heart — dense with pubs, microbreweries, rooftop bars, live-music venues and restaurants.

By day it's a shopping and café hub; by night the whole district hums with a young, cosmopolitan crowd. Nearby Church Street and Indiranagar extend the scene, but Brigade Road is where Bengaluru's love of a good night out began.
