At the heart of Mount Abu lies Nakki Lake, a tranquil body of water cradled by green hills at over 1,200 metres above sea level. As Rajasthan's only hill station, Mount Abu offers a cool, leafy respite from the desert plains, and the lake is its social centre.
Pedal-boats drift across the water, families stroll the shore, and curious rock formations — most famously the balancing Toad Rock — dot the surrounding hills. Nearby Sunset Point offers a classic end to the day.
